Lomond Health Concern 06 May 06 Report
Lomond Health Concern was established on the 21st April and has become a member of SHCN.

The group was established to monitor the progress of local health provision under the new regime of Highland Health Board given the unwilling annexation of Helensburgh and the Lochside to Highland rather than Glasgow.

Our aim is to take a low key approach over the summer months and to study announcements from the new Health Board very carefully, particularly in regard to the Vale of Leven Hospital and its relationship with Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board.

The group is concerned about the Integrated Care Model being piloted at the Vale and members will be attending local presentations on this during May.
